Accreditation is awarded to providers who meet all NAFCC required standards and a minimum percentage of standards in each of the following areas in the observation materials. |
- Routines
- Relationships
- Developmental Learning Activities
- Environment
- Records
- Self-Certified Standards
|
The provider will receive a certificate, ribbon, and lapel pin in her notification packet.
NAFCC Accreditation is valid:
- For 3 years when accompanied with a license in good standing
- For a specific provider at the location she was observed
|
If a provider’s license is revoked, her accreditation is no longer valid.
