Observation Step - Assignment
After the materials are received, the accreditation specialists check the files to make sure everything is included and within NAFCC time frames. Once the file is complete, the next phase of the Observation Step begins … ASSIGNING AN OBSERVER.

When the accreditation specialists look for an observer, the following must be considered:
  • The observer has completed 2 day NAFCC Observer Training.
  • There is no conflict of interest between the observer and provider.
  • The location of available observers.
  • The observer must have a current NAFCC individual membership.
  • The observer must be available to complete the observation within 30 days.
