Affiliate Partner Application

Affiliates Must:

  • Be a legally operating family child care association
  • Be an “Association” member of NAFCC ($70.00 per year)
  • Verify that 10% of your membership (or a minimum of 25 whichever is greater) are NAFCC members. If not, the association assumes responsibility to pay for the memberships needed to meet this requirement.
  • Carry liability insurance (Officers Insurance)
  • Support NAFCC’s mission and goals
  • Support NAFCC positions on public policies
  • Promote NAFCC membership through newsletters, website, and conferences
  • Offer full disclosure on how they work with Family Child Care

A Request for Exemption:

If an association is unable to meet any of the Affiliate Requirements due to the structure of the association they may submit a request for an exemption in writing to the NAFCC Affiliate Council for review and decision. The request should state the requirement the exemption is requested for and explain how the association can show they meet the intention of the requirement in an alternative manner. The request will be submitted to the NAFCC office and reviewed by the Affiliate Council for decision.

Benefits Include: 

  • The Affiliate Association will use their own logo in addition to the NAFCC Affiliate logo
  • Discounted NAFCC membership dues for Individuals within Affiliate structure
  • May use NAFCC logo on their organization’s membership card, website, newsletters and any other promotional materials approved by NAFCC
  • Affiliate Association will be listed on the NAFCC website with a direct link to the Affiliate’s website.
  • Affiliate Association may send representation to attend Association Leadership Institute training at a discounted rate
  • Affiliate Association will receive NAFCC newsletter and have the right to duplicate articles for members (i.e. on website, in newsletter, on display at meetings, etc.)
  • Affiliate Association may take advantage of group discounts on materials, services, and products as they become available through NAFCC
  • Priority will be given to Affiliates as potential grant funding partners, as opportunities become available.
  • Many more benefits coming; as an association you will be able to assist in creating and choosing benefit
