Oregon

Marian McDonald, family child care provider and former NAFCC Board Member, from the Portland area, was awarded a new state accreditation called “Oregon Program of Quality.” She was one of twenty-five programs in Cohort 1 that took part in the pilot program. Out of 7,900 licensed programs in Oregon, twenty-five achieved accreditation status. She received money to buy equipment for her infant/toddler program and after finishing her portfolio which involved a lot of training and classes, she was given a $1000 incentive grant. Congratulations Marian!!
