Restructured Process Overview
NAFCC Accreditation Fees Member Non-Member
Self-Study Enrollment
This fee applies to all providers entering the accreditation process at the self-study enrollment step.

Application
This fee applies to candidates who enrolled in self-study and are ready to apply for accreditation, and to providers who are re-accrediting and who are eligible to go directly to the application step.  Depending on the individual program, additional fees may apply at the application step.

Annual Renewals
The fee for both annual renewals is due with the 1st year annual renewal.  No additional fees are due with the second year annual renewal.

Accreditation Packages Member Non-Member
Accreditation - Full Package
This option includes self-study enrollment, application, and annual renewal fees.  Refund or transfer is permitted before the application is submitted (less a $50 processing fee).  Depending on the individual program, additional fees may apply at the application step.

Reaccreditation - Full Package
This option is available to accredited providers who are eligible to go directly to the application step.  It includes the application and annual renewal fees.  Depending on the individual program, additional fees may apply at the application step.

Co-Provider
This fee applies at the application step if  candidates are applying for accreditation as co-providers.

Application Reinstatement
This fee applies at the application step if a candidate submits an incomplete application and is unable to submit the required information within 30 days of NAFCC's receipt of the original application.  The application and all documentation will be returned to the candidate and must be submitted with complete information, and re-instatement fees within 60 days of the original application receipt date.  If NAFCC does not receive a complete application within 60 days of the original application date, the process is terminated and the candidate must begin at the application step.

Observation Rescheduling
This fee applies if an observation visit has to be rescheduled at the request of the candidate, but can still be completed within the original timeframe of 4 months.  If the candidate is unable to have the observation visit in that time frame, both the observation rescheduling fee and the observation reinstatement fee will be assessed to continue the accreditation process.

Observation Reinstatement
This fee applies at the observation step if the candidate has completed the application step and is unable to have an observation visit with the original timeframe of four months.  The candidate is allowed 60 days to submit the reinstatement, become reinstated, and choose the month for the observation.   If the candidate is not reinstated within 60 days, the process is terminated and the candidate must begin at the application step.

Relocation Fee
This fee applies if an accredited provider changes the location of the program during the accreditation period.
