CALL FOR PRESENTERS
NAFCC is currently seeking proposals for our 27th Annual Conference, taking place in Mobile, Alabama July 19-22, 2017
The conference theme is Creating Connections, and we are thrilled to invite workshop proposals that explore opportunities to create and build connections with children and families, and across the early childhood education landscape. Click here for a preview of the conference tracks. Attendees are looking for sessions that focus on practical solutions to increase their knowledge and effectiveness; to engage and challenge their thinking and to nurture their purpose, creativity and professional excellence. We invite presenters to focus content on family child care provider participants, as well as conference participants from the Head Start community and the child nutrition community, and content of interest to mentors, trainers, family child care networks and state agencies as we build connections all around our field.
Workshops will be offered Thursday July 20, 2017, Friday July 21, 2017, and Saturday July 22, 2017. Workshops will be 90 minutes or 120 minutes. We encourage presenters of 120 minute workshops workshops to include a movement activity or give a 5 minute break after the first hour.
NAFCC is pleased to offer all presenters a screen and projector. All other audiovisual (AV) equipment will be at the expense of the presenter.
All rooms will be arranged in classroom or theater style determined on the size of the room. If a specific room style is required, it must be prearranged and approved by NAFCC.
All presenters are required to register for the conference. Primary presenters and one co-presenter per workshop can register at a special discounted rate of $50.00.
All presenters are responsible for making and paying for their own hotel reservations and travel expenses.
No sales or promotion of sales materials will be allowed during workshop presentations.
We encourage Spanish speaking presentations and hope to have a variety of sessions in Spanish throughout the conference.
The submission deadline is January 6, 2017.
