When you arrive in Orlando, stop by the registration desk in the Panzacola Ballroom at any of the times listed below to check in. This is where you'll pick up your nametag, receive your conference tote bag and program, and meet the NAFCC staff!

The registration hours are as follows:

Tuesday, June 18      6 PM - 8 PM
Wednesday, June 19   7 AM - 5 PM
Thursday, June 20   7 AM - 5 PM
Friday, June 21   7 AM - 3 PM
Saturday, June 22   7 AM - 12 PM


NAFCC staff and volunteers will be available during these hours to help answer any questions about conference that you have!



You do not need to register or resrve a spot for the general workshop sessions at conference. We seat them based on a first come, first served basis, but leave plenty of room in each workshop to make sure everyone who wants to attend gets a seat. Please be prompt and on time to workshops.

Stickers will be given out at the end of each workshop to verify training hours and attendance.

We recommend a "business casual" dress code for conference attendees along with comfortable shoes if you are exploring the area. See the current weather forecast below and check again before you pack so you know what to expect! Below are a few examples of past conference attendees.

The all-conference lunch will take place on Saturday, June 22 from 12 PM - 1:30 PM. This luncheon is open to all conference attendees who registered for the Full Conference Registration or the Saturday Only Registration. Tickets to the luncheon are inside your name badge and will be required for admittance into the lunch. If you have family or friends that would like to attend the lunch, but do not want to register for the full conference, additional tickets can be purchased at the registration desk for $50 each. 




If you are looking to travel outside the hotel and explore Orlando, renting a car is a great option and is available onsite at the Rosen Shingle Creek. This season is looking to be extremely busy in Orlando, but guests at the Rosen Shingle Creek that book pre-arranged vehicles get the best deals! Book your car and take advantage of these deals. If you are staying at the Rosen Shingle Creek, there is no additional parking fees. For those staying at the overflow room block at the Rosen Inn International, will also be able to benefit from the complimentary parking at the Rosen Shingle Creek. Just make sure to show you parking pass from the Rosen Inn when you arrive.

There will be no shuttle or transportation service to the Rosen Shingle Creek from the Rosen Inn International. We recommend carpooling, renting a car, or taking an Uber or Lyft service to drive between the two hotels. There are also no shuttles from the airport to the Rosen hotels.



If you haven't checked the weather for Orlando during the week of conference, we've got you covered! Everything at conference will be located indoors, so don't forget to pack your jacket or light sweaters as the hotel rooms can be much colder than outside. But if you're planning on leaving the hotel to explore Orlando, get ready for hot, humid weather and some scattered showers!

Florida is known for their summer rain showers, so if you do decide to venture outside, don't forget your rain jacket, umbrella, or poncho!

Want to join a pre-conference session? Space permitting, you will be able to register for the pre-conference sessions onsite at the registration desk. Spots in these sessions are limited and will be available on a first come, first served basis. So be sure to stop by the registration desk at the hours listed above if you would like to register for a specific session.

Come kick off the conference with us at the grand opening of the exhibit hall. Maryann "Mar" Harman, founder of the internationally respected Music with Mar™ program, will join us for the entertainment prior to the exhibit hall opening. Mar's music has won two Parent's Choice Awards, a John Lennon Songwriting Award, among several others. Studying brain research and putting the pieces together through music is her passion. Mar will lead us in singing, dancing, and celebrating the work you do with children every day! There will be complimentary lemonade, fruit infused water, and light finger sandwiches at the garnd opening, so don't miss out!

Join us on Friday, June 21 at 7:30 PM in Panzacola, F1, F2, G1 for the annual, formal event honoring family child care providers! This year's theme for the tribute to family child care is "Tropical Paradise" and we have set aside a night to celebrate family child care. We will enjoy entertainment from salsa dancers as well as learn a few steps or two from them if you choose! 

A dance floor and DJ will be waiting for you to let loose and, as always, our red carpet will be waiting for you to arrive to take pictures of you and the friends you've made at conference. Pictures will be available for purchase. Chips, salsa, and guacamole will be served and drinks will also be available for purchase.

If your friends and family would like to attend the tribute to family child care, but do not want to register and attend the full conference, additional tickets can be purchased onsite at the registration desk for $10 each. Tickets for those already registered for the conference can be found in the attendees name badge that you pick up from the registration desk.

Not sure what to wear? We encourage formal attire, but accept all conference attendees how they are! You can even dress up for the tropical paradise theme.
